I bought a thermomix late last year. It almost broke the bank – I had to sell all of the kids old gear. But it doubled as a great opportunity to get rid of stuff we didn’t need any more. Like the pram, change table, kiddie bike seat and bike trailer. You name it, I put it on Gumtree (that’s an Aussie version of Craigs List). And most of it went. Beauty! More space in our very cramped garage, and money in my secret hiding spot to go towards a thermie!
The other day my eldest DLT had her school swimming carnival. She’s been having swimming lessons since she was a tiny tacker, and is great at keeping her head above water – which is what we were aiming for. I just want to know that if any of my children were to fall into a body of water, they would be able to swim to safety. So tick, job done for child number one.
Oh, dearest Dug. You are so cute. But you bring so much dirt into the house.I’ve rung a few local dog groomers, and have sadly been informed on more than one occasion that they only groom small breeds. Now, Dug is not huge, but he doesn’t exactly weigh in as a small dog either. I guess he’s kind of medium sized. Surely there must be someone nearby who can help me tame his unruly, rastafarian hair. And I don’t really want to drive for miles to get there. Am I asking too much?
